Mobile
North Sea - Norway
We
designed and operated a system of freezing within the Annulus
of STAT A on the sea bed. This was a highly successful operation
for the freezing of 18" ballast water lines, each freeze
having to be held for six days, whilst renovation work was
undertaken.
This
project was critical to the Norwegian oil production and
was successfully completed on time and without incident.
Total
contract value - £1.3 million.
Mobile
North Sea - UK
MCL
were the instigating company of the pipe-freeze principle
to Mobil, resulting in many years of call off work for that
service.

We
have undertaken many pipe-freeze projects on platforms such
